Old Coal Region Mining

Almost all of the photos that are displayed in this album were photographed by Thomas Studios, in Shamokin. The pictures showcase Anthracite Coal at its prime. I believe it's only right to show these photos to the public so those visiting my site get a better understanding of where our area's history has come from. Special thanks to Myron Thomas, Paul Thomas, Ben Wojciechowski, Justin Zimmerman, Jim Jones, Billy Milbrand, Stephanie C. John, Heather Makal, David Van Doren, Dave Brown and Ed Kurtz.

**Btw, I'm always on the hunt for old photos. If you would like to part ways with yours, please send an email to l_deklinski@yahoo.com
