  • W. Metzner's barber Shop on North Shamokin Street.
  • *Low-Res* Independence and Shamokin streets from the area of The Mill.
  • J.W. Maus Paint Store and U.S. Post Office on the corner of Chestnut and Second streets- This photo is in pretty bad shape, but I can tell the men are painters. The man sitting at far left is sitting on a can of varnish, while several others hold buckets and small brooms. Oddly, there is a woman in the center. Even though this photo says taken "about 1890," the American flag has 48 stars. This would mean it was taken some time after Feb 14, 1912, the day Arizona entered statehood and became the 48th state.
  • Spruce Street during a flood. The building with the A-framed roof is now the location of Mr. Pizza.
  • (07.1941) Correale Construction Company outing at the Gun Club in Elysburg.
  • It looks like the entire Cameron Bridge is being replaced. The gas station where present-day Jack Williams is located is called Betholine Lubricating Service (Jewel Oil Co.). Nearby is Arthur B. Moyer Tire Repairing.
