Shamokin Annex Construction

A groundbreaking for the Shamokin Annex was held May 11, 1955. Around 300 people attended the first school building project in the city in 45 years. The building was dedicated March 25, 1957. Total cost of the project was $1,102,000. Site was 175 by 257 feet.
