  • Rebecca Spring- This was also located in Edgewood Park. It was a popular gathering place for the young and old in love. Eventually, Edgewood Park became less of a destination once automobiles allowed residents to travel to further destinations. The decline was steady until only the merry-go-round, the School of Mines and the "pavilion" remained. In early 1964, those were demolished to make way for homes on Stetler Drive. Today, the only remaining piece of Edgewood Park, in any form, is an old metal power pole, which was recently refurbished and placed near the Nature Trail at Kemp Memorial Stadium.
