Grace Lutheran Church- This church was organized on Oct. 31, 1885 at Seiler's Hall on Spruce Street. On March 4, 1887, Rev. William Weichsel was elected pastor. Lots at the corner of Seventh and Chestnut streets were purchased for $3,600. On Nov. 19, 1893, a church (seen here) measuring 30-by-50-foot was built.
