I don't exact know when the Moose Mansion was torn down. It was still there in 1951, but by 1956 there is a reference that "Kleskie's Atlantic Service" station had already opened in this spot.

  • Market and Arch streets. The white building in the background is T.M. Lipplatt & Son, a furniture and carpet store. On the Glen Burn Bank the words "Adams Rib" can be seen.

  • Mansion House- Also known as the Moose Mansion, this very large gathering place was once located on the corner of Lincoln and Market streets in Shamokin. This is where Kleskie's Service Station was and where Turkey Hill is now. (cont.)
