  • (cont.) The Mansion House was a social setting for many pivotal private and public events. From 1915 to 1918 it was managed by Daniel Leitzel. By 1934 it became known as the Moose Mansion. (cont.)
  • Mansion House- Also known as the Moose Mansion, this very large gathering place was once located on the corner of Lincoln and Market streets in Shamokin. This is where Kleskie's Service Station was and where Turkey Hill is now. (cont.)

  • I don't exact know when the Moose Mansion was torn down. It was still there in 1951, but by 1956 there is a reference that "Kleskie's Atlantic Service" station had already opened in this spot.
