  • (1958) Washington- The building was last used as a public school in the late 1970s. The congregation of the Shamokin Independent Baptist Church bought the building from the Shamokin Area School District for $7,007 Baptist Church sold the building to Rosa Hernandez for $15,000 in 2006. In Nov. of 2012, Twilight Beginnings, based in Mount Carmel, purchased the building at a county Judicial Sale for $8,038.60. It underwent an extensive exterior renovation in the 2010s.
