Almost all of these photos were purchased from the last owner of Paul Thomas Photography of Shamokin. They showcase Shamokin and Coal Township at their prime, when coal was king and business soared in the area. Things have changed, but I believe it's only right to show these photos to the public to give those out there a better understanding of where our rich history has come from and where we could go.
